Testimonials – SE Adult Home Care
Scott Erno is a phenominal caregiver. Having taken care of terminally ill family members I needed help with my dad and Scott stepped in, at my request. Scott is a very compassionate and understanding person, and encouraged my father to accept help when needed. I believe it was Scott’s first day and he had to help my dad with a shower. Afterward, when my dad came out to the living room, head held high and with his dignity intact, I immediately knew that all was going to be good. Scott also helped towards the end of my dad’s life and was able to get him to respond when no one else could. My dad looked forward to Scott’s visits. The two of them talked, shared stories and were able to sit in companionable silence when needed. It was obvious my dad enjoyed Scott because I would come back and the two would be laughing or talking about something. Dad relied on Scott and even asked him to do some “handyman” things around the house for him, which Scott obliging did. We both relied on Scott and were very comfortable around him, which made my leaving for a few hours much easier. He also made the grand gesture to help me and listen to me when things got to be too tough. Scott Erno is one admirable person, and I thank him for coming into our lives and helping my dad to live out his last days to the best of his ability. Pam Potter
Scott Erno cared for my husband for the last 9 months of his life. Scott is a responsible, hard working and compassionate caregiver. He is passionate about giving high quality care and also spent the extra time to be a friend and companion to my husband, not just a caregiver. I would highly recommend him to care for anyone’s loved one.
My grandparents retired in the Northwood’s and my grandfather always said he wanted to live out the rest of his life at his home. As my grandfather’s health declined, Scott stepped in and helped care for my grandfather. It was because of his excellent care, my grandfather was able to remain in his home, just as he wished. Scott is kind and very knowledgeable! Our family is very thankful for everything he did for us!

From the first day that Scott started working with our father we were impressed with his skills. He is very direct and matter of fact with the most personal aspects of personal care, and yet remains respectful and always has an upbeat and cheerful demeanor. Dad always seems comfortable with Scott, and is responsive to him, which in itself speaks volumes.
It takes a great deal of stress off of us to know that Dad is being well cared for. Scott attends to his physical needs: meals, baths, skin care, toilet and everything else that goes along with taking care of a person who is bed bound. He also keeps him entertained by selecting music and TV that he knows Dad will relate to. We feel very fortunate to have Scott taking care of our Dad.
